Core Professional and Student Membership is open to scholars using phenomenological methodology and philosophy in their research. Core members of the Society can serve on the Board of Directors and various committees. They receive discounts at the conferences, can facilitate SoPheRe webinars, and participate in our publications. Society can host their relevant research projects and provide other kinds of research support.
To become a core professional member, please email a cover letter with a statement of interest, a bio note or short CV, a record of relevant publications for professional or emeriti faculty membership, or proof of the current student status for student membership, to members@sophere.org . Upon reviewing your application, we will send you a notice determining the level of your membership, after which you can pay your membership dues and use the members-only portal.
