Affiliated (or Transdisciplinary) Professional and Student Membership is open to all scholars interested in the phenomenology of religious experience and having basic familiarity with phenomenology and religious studies. They can actively participate in conferences, webinars, and other academic events of the Society.
To become a member, please email a cover letter with a statement of interest, a bio note or short CV, a record of relevant publications for professional or emeriti membership, or proof of the current student status for student membership, to members@sophere.org . Upon reviewing your application, we will send you a notice determining the level of your membership, after which you can pay your membership dues and use the members-only portal.
Affiliated Student Membership
Affiliate Student Members can attend society’s academic events at a special rate. Affiliate student members are recommended to increase their familiarity with the phenomenological methods; they will be offered discounts at the Society’s educational programs.
To become a student member, please send in a CV with indication of the school you attend, information about your field of study, and a proof of your current student enrollment status, to membership@sophere.org.
