Most conference attendees arriving by air will fly into Chicago, either O’Hare or Midway airports. Car rentals are easily available, Valparaiso is about a 1-1/2 hour drive from the Chicago airports. Bus service is also available. From the airport, take the regional Airport Supersaver bus to Portage, Indiana. Busses run about every two hours. At O’Hare, the Airport Supersaver leaves from the Bus/Shuttle Center on Level 1 of the main parking garage; at Midway busses leave on the lower level adjacent to the parking garage. Tickets can be purchased at the airport or in advance though their website:
When you arrive in Portage, you can take a local cab (Uber, Lyft etc.) to the campus, or we will also run a shuttle from the conference hotel to Portage immediately before and after the conference. If you want to use this shuttle service please send us your travel schedule so that we can make appropriate arrangements to pick you up.
